1. What the Helper is
Demivo Helper is an optional browser extension that works only with the Demivo web player at panel.iptv.domains. Its single purpose is to let more of your own IPTV subscription play directly in your browser. It is published by Velmeron LLC (Wyoming, USA).
2. What it does
Some IPTV providers only serve a stream to what looks like a media player, or deliver over plain http that a secure web page cannot embed. When you play a channel or title in the Demivo player, the Helper — on your own device — adjusts the request's identity (its User-Agent, drops the Origin/Referer, and relaxes the cross-origin CORS headers on the response) and, where needed, fetches the stream and hands the bytes to the player. This is exactly what apps like VLC or TiViMate already do. The video streams straight from your provider to your device.
3. Data we collect
None. The Helper does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. There is no analytics, no tracking, no telemetry, and no account. It makes no network requests of its own except the IPTV requests you initiate by pressing play in the Demivo player, which go directly to your own provider.
4. What it stores (locally only)
- Whether the Helper is turned on or off;
- Your chosen "Play as" option (e.g. VLC, Kodi, Android player);
- The provider domain(s) of the account you're signed into — stored only on your device, and never sent anywhere.
This is kept in the browser's local extension storage on your device. It never leaves your device and is removed when you uninstall the Helper.
5. Permissions and why
- Website access — requested only when you enable playback. Your provider's streams routinely redirect across servers and CDNs that can't be known in advance, so the Helper needs broad access to follow them. It only ever acts on the media requests the Demivo player itself makes to your provider — it does not read, inject into, or track any other website.
- Request modification (declarativeNetRequest / webRequest) — to change the identity and the cross-origin (CORS) headers of the player's requests to your provider, and never for iptv.domains itself.
- Storage — to remember the two local preferences above.
6. Zero-proxy
Nothing is routed through iptv.domains or Velmeron servers. The Helper only runs on your device, on your own connection.
7. Children
The Helper is not directed at children and collects no information from anyone.
